Publicity Clinic
Every year, PRSA-CIEC provides a half-day of Professional Development (PD) workshops or clinics to provide members, guests and local business and non-profit organization executives with new ideas, interactive exercises and training to build and maintain strong, strategic communications.
In 2011, we will host a Spring Workshop, formerly held in fall every other year. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.

2010 Western District Conference
Last year, the PRSA-CIEC hosted the two-day Western District Conference on April 28 - 30 in Palm Springs, CA.
The 2009 Spring Publicity Clinic "Back to the Basics" was held on April 17, 2009 at the Riverside Marriott and featured:

The 2008 Fall Workshop "PR 2.0 Breaking into the Conversation" was hosted as a half-day professional development program at California Baptist University in Riverside, and featured:

The 2007 Spring Publicity Clinic attracted nearly 100 PR practitioners who gathered at the Riverside Marriott to learn about crisis communications, strategic decision-making, media relations and media training. The 2007 program presenters included:
