Public Relations Services for the
San Bernardino Vally Enterprise Zone 

 The Inland Valley Development Agency (IVDA) is issuing a "Request for Proposals" to seek consultants or firms experienced in providing public relations/media/marketing services for the San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone Program (SBVEZ). 

The SBVEZ Program targets economically distressed areas throughout California.  Special state and local incentives encourage business investments and promote the creation of new jobs.  The purpose of this program is to stimulate development by providing tax incentives to businesses and allow private sector market forces to revive the local economy.  The SBVEZ is approximately 27,000 acres and covers portions of the cities of Colton and San Bernardino of the county of San Bernardino.

Communications Writer

Minimum of 4 years experience (3-5 years) in writing directly to the consumer, formulating copy and editing in the following industries: Hospital, Health Plan, Advertising, Health Care, Public Relations, or other relevant industry. Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign CS5, PC and MAC. Bachelor degree in communications, literature, marketing, public relations or related field from an accredited four-year institution required.

Under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Communications Writer is responsible for gathering all information required to write directly to the consumer including IEHP members, providers, partners, general community, and to internal staff. The Communications Writer will provide strategic support for IEHP’s communications and public relations initiatives and is also responsible for project management from the first stage of creative development to its project completion. To develop all materials requested, the Communications Writer will work with applicable departments to develop the strategic/creative criteria and work with the graphic designers and coordinators to ensure all projects are completed and delivered on time

Salary:  $45,050 - $63,600
