Congratulations PRSA-CIEC on a successful first-time "Speed consulting" and sports marketing event at the AutoClub Speedway in Fontana, CA, on June 23, 2010.

Guests enjoyed Aron Giannini's interesting and informative presentation at the Media Center in the Infield over a buffet lunch catered by Americrown. In addition, several local organizations worked with PRSA practitioners on their publicity and marketing plans during their "speed consulting" one hour sessions at the Speedway Skyboxes - what a view!  

The event, which was a fundraiser for the PRSA-CIEC Student Scholarship Fund, netted $323 in proceeds towards the awards that will be presented on October 13, 2010 at the chapter's annual Polaris Awards banquet.  

Special thanks, too, to Phil Pitchford and the other members of the planning committee as well as to Karen Bradford, M.A, of Attention to Details., Diane Martin of The LunMar Group, Carrie Gilbreth of Westbound Communications, and Janice Newman, APR, who donated their time to serve as counselors to the cleint-guests during the Skybox consulting event.
