This PRSAIE training will cover how to be more inclusive of LGBTQIA+ folks in service, communication, and advertising. Increasing visibility and appropriate,  respectful language will be a focus point as this is at the root of inclusivity. Language and visible communication are such an integral part of connecting with people. During our 90 minute session, we will:

  • discuss appropriate language to communicate affirmation of this often marginalized population.
  • discuss practices to increase inclusion in physical spaces and every day speech practices, like pronoun use, that increase safety and affirmation for LGBTQIA+ folks.
  • include an open Q & A section to walk through and address any barriers participants have faced while trying to engage and serve LGBTQIA+ folks.
