Sponsorship opportunities

Sponsor a PR Graduate and help them become a PRSA Associate Member

PRSA-IE has a rich history of mentoring, coaching and encouraging public relations students. The Board would love to see our members partner in this endeavor by donating to sponsor recent graduates who want to become PRSA members. Over the years, many valuable general members and a few board members joined our ranks by receiving a sponsorship for associate membership. Recent graduates can join for $60, plus the Inland Empire Chapter membership.

We will acknowledge donors at events and on our website and social media posts. Please contact Mary Ann Pearson APR for information.

APR Information

In the world of communication professionals, the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is a credential earned by public relations and communication practitioners who commit to the profession through ethical practices and sound judgment, strategic perspectives, knowledge of best practices and the use of the research/planning/implementation/evaluation (RPIE) process.

Accreditation is a mark of distinction and is achieved through a rigorous process. Practitioners are required to present their knowledge to Accredited peers for review. This is followed by a comprehensive examination that tests a candidate’s knowledge of the field. Perhaps most importantly, the credential signifies an understanding and commitment to a Code of Ethics and the ability to think and plan at the strategic level.
